Designations & Certifications

The National Association of REALTORS® and its affiliated Institutes, Societies, and Councils provide a wide-range of designations and certifications, acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by NAR and each affiliated group upon completion of required courses.

With designation and certification training, you can:

  • Increase your income.
  • Gain skills to provide specialized expertise.
  • Enhance your professional image.
  • Increase your marketability, proficiency and productivity.

Designations require annual dues (first year is free) and continued membership in NAR. They offer extensive benefits which are continually improved upon and expanded. Designations have specific core course and elective course requirements, both which may serve as approved education credits toward other NAR credentials.

Certifications are achieved through “one and done” coursework, and require one time application fee, but do not require ongoing education or dues maintenance.

Even if you are not interested in gaining a designation/certification, or aren’t a REALTOR®, the information these courses provide can be very beneficial for the success of your real estate business.

We hold two or more of theses courses annually in a live classroom format with CE credit, but you can take many of these courses online.

The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation is designed for real estate buyer agents who focus on working directly with buyer-clients at every stage of the home-buying process.
